When I got my test rolls for my replacement cameras developed, I also had one remaining roll from 2020.
I had taken a roll of Fomapan profi line creative 200 with my Canon EOS Rebel 2000 during our winter break in December. Back in September, I had shot a roll of Fomapan profi line action 400 with my Minolta X-700. I was quite happy with the results and was looking forward to trying the creative. I’m not sure there’s anything to the naming conventions other than to distinguish between the different film speeds.
I was similarly pleased with the results. I think the pictures I took with the action turned out a bit better, but it’s hard to compare since I used a different camera during a different season. The Canon tends to be quite reliable so I’m not sure the different cameras made as much a difference as the shooting conditions.
I shot a few pictures in our apartment with my Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens. I took a couple of our Christmas decorations.

And a couple when I was testing out the light box Holly got me for Christmas.

I then switched to my Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 for a nice walk we took along South Street and East Passyunk Avenue.

I finished the roll by taking more pictures around our apartment and out our window. I didn’t note which lens I used for these, but it doesn’t seem to be the 85mm.

Since I liked the results from both the rolls I shot with Fomapan films, I’m interested in shooting more with them. They also have these in 120 film so I may look into that.
